It is not expected that delegates working in this industry all do the same activities or use the same equipment and machinery so the qualification has been developed to make it as widely available as possible by having 2 distinct pathways; roof and wall sheeting and cladding or rainscreen wall cladding systems. Depending on which of these are chosen by the candidate, they will also study a number of the following modules:
This Level 3 Diploma is aimed at those who are involved in installing rainscreen wall cladding systems and/or roof sheeting and cladding systems that involve curved and complex roof and wall formations in the workplace, working from drawings and specifications.
Upon completion of the qualification, you will be able to apply for the Gold CSCS Advanced Craft or Supervisory card (subject to passing the relevant Health and Safety test).
Achievement of Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Cladding Occupations could enable the holder to work as a specialist in preparing resources for and the installation of sheeting and cladding materials and rainwater goods on roofs and walls in the workplace.
