What are NVQ's?

Launched in 1986 as a way of standardising the various different vocational qualifications at the time, NVQs or National Vocational Qualifications, have become the gold standard for vocational training in the UK.

NVQs are work-based qualifications that recognise the skill and knowledge a person needs to perform a role. Each candidate needs to demonstrate, and prove, that they have the competence to carry out the tasks associated with their chosen role or career path.

We understand that no two candidates are the same. From the outset, we take time to understand every candidates needs, and ensure that they are paired with the most suitable of our experienced assessors.
The assigned assessor will work with candidates to develop their portfolio, and plan how they can complete each unit.
Their intricate knowledge of the subject material means they know which evidence meets the course requirements, and how to maximise the potential of each piece. A carefully planned piece of evidence can be mapped across several different criteria, meaning candidates can complete the qualification more efficiently.
Our Assessors continually review candidates’ progress to help ensure they are on track to successfully complete the qualification. Monitoring may take the form of written questions, professional discussions, evidence generated from the work place, observations and testimonials.
